All creatures caught in the area of the spell take 3d6 points of nonlethal damage. A successful fortitude save halves the damage. Objects (and some creatures) are immune to nonlethal damage.
Most of the water you create dissipates as soon as the line reaches its end point, leaving only a thin layer of wetness on the surface beneath.
