Level: Blackguard 5, Death 5, Destruction 5
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Target: Living creature touched
Saving Throw: Fortitude partial
Spell Resistance: Yes
Spell Points: 9
A tiny black spark shoots from your hand as you touch your victim, and it falls to the ground, dead.
You can slay any one living creature. You must succeed on a melee touch attack to touch the subject, and it can avoid death with a successful Fortitude save. If it succeeds, it instead takes 3d6 points of damage +1 point per caster level.
Augment: You can augment this spell in one or more of the following ways:
For every 2 additional spell points you spend, this spell deals an additional die (d6) of damage on a successful save.
For every 3 additional spell points you spend, you can use this touch attack an additional time.
If you spend 4 additional spell points, the remains (but the equipment and possessions) of any creature killed by this spell are instantly and utterly destroyed, leaving no trace of the victim. The only way to restore life to a character whose remains have been destroyed in this manner is to use the seventh augment of the Raise Dead spell, or to use a carefully worded Wish spell or a Miracle spell to restore the body.
